Tomorrow is the “Donuts with Dads” celebration where Burnt Mills Elementary School will honor our fathers and significant male role models. Dads/father figures and their children will share in an activity and have donuts together. All dads/father figures are invited to stay throughout the day to enjoy lunch, recess, specials or a classroom visit with their child. Please be sure to you have RSVP’ed to the school, as we are expecting a large group.
At the “Donuts with Dad” celebration, BMES will also launch the Watch D.O.G.S. program. Watch D.O.G.S. is an innovative program focused on education and safety in schools by using positive influence of fathers and father-figures. We need five (5) dads/father-figures to step up and help to launch this great program. Our goal is to get 100 Dads/father figures involved and committed to this important program for students.
