More advocating for Burnt Mills at BOE

On Tuesday, the BOE held another business meeting and Burnt Mills had three (out of seven) of the public comment slots! Burnt Mills parents, Ray and Patti, and Burnt Mills community member, Dan, all testified to advocate for a new school building.

In addition, three individuals testified on behalf of South Lake Elementary School and mentioned/supported BMES as well. This is due to our partnership with AIM, Action in Montgomery, who is helping bring communities together and advocate for change.

See Ray’s testimony at minute 13, Dan at minute 15:50, and Patti at minute 26:20 via this video link.

Stay tuned for news on upcoming BOE meetings and opportunities to testify.
