* Watch D.O.G.S.

Watch D.O.G.S. is an innovative program focused on education and safety in schools by using positive influence of fathers and father-figures. We need five (5) dads/father-figures to step up and help me launch this great program. Our goal is to get 100 Dads/father figures involved and committed to this important program for students. If you are willing to help, please email Dr. Ashton directly at [email protected].

*** IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR BMES VOLUNTEERS ***

All volunteers who regularly support Burnt Mills and its students (including chaperoning field trips) must complete the Child Abuse and Neglect volunteer training. This training is required by Montgomery County Public Schools every three years and is offered online at: www.montgomerycountyschoolsmd.org/childabuseandneglect. If you completed the training in 2016-17 or 2017-18, the Burnt Mills Elementary School office should have record of your completion. If you are new to Burnt Mills, please complete the training and/or show proof of completion to the office staff.
