Get ready for the Burnt Mills Walkathon on May 12!

The BMES school community is supporting our school by hosting the 2nd Annual BMES “Healthy Heart” Walkathon Fundraiser next month.  Since this year’s theme takes inspiration from the Healthy Heart Initiative (http://www.everykidhealthyweek.org/), during recess time on May 12, our students will participate in the walk/run on the school grounds to observe healthy habits, like good nutrition and exercise, and celebrate school spirit. Kids have the option to wear a white shirt (from home) that will be sprayed at the end of the walk with a non-toxic, color spray to keep as a souvenir from the event.

Please open the link below to learn more about this event and how you can help support this fundraiser. Donation forms are due to your student’s classroom teacher by May 11.  Fantastic prizes await for student’s who collect the most donations. Adult volunteers are needed at check points on the walking route.
